Central Coast Real Estate

Congratulations on your decision to consider purchasing property in California's beautiful Central Coast! The Central Coast refers to the central southern coast of California and the coast is comprised of seven counties: Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz. The towns and cities within the Central Coast are mostly upscale places that are very quiet, friendly and hospitable. The Central Coast area is comprised of over 14,000 square miles of land, and the land that is displayed within this area is extremely diverse. From beaches and palm trees to deep forests and hills, to huge mountains and ranches, much variety is to be found in the Central Coast.

Though the landscape may vary greatly, one thing does not change about the towns and cities within the district: are all fabulous places to live and invest in. Many different types of lifestyles are possible in the area, from rural and semi-rural living to small and big city living. Generally speaking, most of the cities in the area are small and friendly. The Central Coast is about an hour away from Los Angeles and a bit over two hours away from San Francisco. The communities in this area provide for a great alternative to the smog-ridden air and overpopulation of those cities, but their close proximity to them allows for easy access to them whenever you desire.

Another perk of living in the Central Coast area is the weather. Just ask anyone who lives in the area to tell you about the weather and climate and they will tell you that it's superb. If you already live in California, then you are probably used to good weather, but the climate here in the Central Coast is much different than in other parts of the state. Many other areas in California are sweltering in the summer months but the Central Coast receives constant breezes, which means that it is much more pleasant and somewhat tropical in nature. The air in the area is also much cleaner than other areas of California. This is due in part both to the close proximity to the coast as well as the many mountains that occupy the district and help filter the air.

The weather and the landscape are not the only things that appeal to those who live in the Central Coast area though. There are many wonderful ranches, vineyards, vegetable farms, stores, theaters, malls, and other assorted shops that keep the district's economy strong, as well as make it a fun place to be and live. The ranches are also great for raising and breeding horses and other animals, and the rugged and beautiful terrain provides for some superb cycling as well.

There are many great schools along the Central Coast, both public and private. Many of these schools rank among the most accomplished in the state of California. You can rest assured that your children will receive an excellent education in this district. There also happen to be many great airports and churches in the area as well, including a wide variety of denominations and non-denominational spiritual centers.

The Central Coast has been established for years as a safe, friendly, stable, and all-around secure place in which to live. Few districts in California can hold a candle to the many amenities and benefits offered by the Central Coast, particularly in terms of quality of living. The Central Coast offers many excellent homes, condos and investment properties for all budgets and tastes.
